Karnobat Wine Cellar CEO Dessislava Nikolova together with Karnobat mayor Georgi Dimitrov cut some vines in new 3000 decares of vineyards with white grape varieties nearby the village of Terziisko. This is an exceptional terroir for white varieties. It took two years Karnobat cellar enologists to plant the vines which they acquired from famous French pepiniers. The varieties include Muscat Otonel, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer and Rhine Riesling.
Karnobat Wine cellar intends to expand its own vineyards in order to achieve area of 30 000 decares in five years time. The growth of territories is according the recent doubled capacity of the cellar for wine and brandy production, CEO Dessislava Nikolova said . 17.2.2009 г., '24 hours' newspaper.
