German businessmen liked Karnobat wines better than beer

The guests saw the company’s grapevine massifs and were introduced first-hand to the secrets of grape harvesting. They were left dazed by the rich yield, the quality of grapes, and the varietal diversity in the proprietary vineyards of Vinprom Karnobat, as well as by the scale of the investment. The German entrepreneurs were positively surprised by the fact that apart from the globally renowned varieties of Pinot Noir, Syrah, Gewurtz Traminer, and Viognier, typically Bulgarian varieties such as Mavrud are also grown in the Karnobat vineyards.

Vinprom Karnobat fascinated the German industrialists with its newest selection of white and red wines – Chateau Karnobat, vintage 2007. The exotic wine Chateau Karnobat Syrah, which has a guaranteed designation of origin, became the guests’ favorite. It impressed the otherwise traditional beer fans with its refined and harmonic taste, the rich garnet color, and its full flavor.

After their visit at Vinprom Karnobat the German businessmen shared their hope that the exclusive wines from the Chateau Karnobat series will take their well-deserved place on the German market.
